Does anyone know how much the leases are going for per acre in Section 31 with Mustang Oil? I only got offered $200 an acre bonus and 3/16 royalties or 1/4 royalties and no bonus.

Kara: Mustang has been pooling in the Sections next door at that rate, but Continental has a pooling in Section 6-6S-2W, which is 5 miles north of you, and they are paying $600 at 3/16. I would sit and wait. You will get a notice of a pooling order. They will still lease then, probably with a better offer. Just don’t fail to respond to the actual pooling order if you are not leased.

Yes, the way they drilled it the production is coming from 28. They do that a lot on horizontal wells.

Does anyone have any info on 27-6S-1E…the OCC web site says there is a well called Charlie there, but my family has heard nothing about it. We are new to this…thanks for any help you can give.

Here is what they were ordered to pay in the last pooling I could find in 7s-2e.

There is a lot of leasing and Continental has started leasing there also.

Thanks, Ron, for the info on 27. Please forgive my ignorance, but does this mean that the mineral holders in 27 don’t get any royalties even though the well is drilled on the section where they own minerals?
