Your lot is a small tract within 640 +/- acres in Section 41. The map only shows the sections, not subdivided lots. There are quite a few sections which have been subdivided into lots. Majority did not have true surveys, but filed a non-surveyed plat of the section showing the lots. If you trace the deed history backwards through your predecessor, you will find that one of these deeds contains a legal description of the lot and see whether any access was provided. You can call the County Clerk in Ward County, Texas, and ask about obtaining a copy of the section plat. It may be online. Either way, you will need to pay in advance to get a copy, but that is not expensive.
