I leased mineral rights to Sam Rose Oil & Gas Properties for three years for $3,999.00 on October 16, 2009.

I received and signed an Oil and Gas Lease (Paid-Up) from Continental Resources January 23, 2010.

Production began 12/30/11, effective 12/1/11. My first royalty payment was dated 8/26/13.

I think my lease agreement had expired. I have heard the term “15 day top up clause” and “match or top lease clause”. What do you think? I would truly appreciate the benefit of your guidance and knowledge.

Susan, Ron McKenzie can usually be found on the Grady or Garvin forums but I haven’t seen a post from him in several months. I hope he’s okay.
