Looking for Recommendations: Reliable Landman in Oklahoma (Preferably OKC Area or Statewide)

Hello everyone,

I’m a mineral owner in Oklahoma (based in the OKC area) and I’m looking for recommendations for a good, independent/reputable landman who works with mineral owners rather than just big operators.

Specifically, I’m needing help with [briefly describe your main needs, e.g.: "title curative work, verifying/curating ownership before signing division orders, running title on inherited interests, preparing affidavits or mineral deeds, or general valuation/research in Logon, Kingfisher, Grady, Kiowa counties.

A few things I’m prioritizing:

  • Someone experienced with Oklahoma records (county clerks, OCC filings, etc.)

  • Preferably a Certified Professional Landman (CPL) or AAPL member for ethics/quality assurance

  • Willing to take on smaller/individual owner projects (not just large company jobs)

  • Good communication and transparent pricing

I’ve seen positive mentions here of folks like Mark Oates, CPL at Star 46 Energy in Edmond—he got strong reviews in a Stephens County thread for similar work. Also companies like Bearcat Land or Twin Territories come up occasionally.
