Looking for latest info on Camino Nat Rec Section 4, Tnshp 6 N, Range 7W

Looking for latest info on Camino Natural Resources at Section 4, Township 6 North, Range 7, West Grady County. Pooling Order 753917. Entered lease, Affidavit of Heirship submitted. Crickets since April 2026. Any help is appreciated.

“Scarle_tt” 0607 16-9-4 1WXH was spud 9/19/25 and completed on 3/17/26 with first production reported in April, so Division Order should be out any day.

Sorry, no underline in the well name, but it won’t let me spell it the correct way.

Thank you. Hopefully we will hear something soon.

By division order you mean for the royalties?

We never received the Bonus payment. My understanding is that would come first then the first production royalty. Is that true?

The Division Order is the contract for the payment of the royalties.

The bonus payment should have come within a few weeks of signing the lease. Contact the agent who leased you for getting the bonus. It is wiser to not hand over a signed lease without getting paid the same day. I learned that the hard way a few years ago.

Camino requested the copy of the affidavit of heirship and the Landman told me it could be six months or 10 years for the attorney’s to make a decision on any compensation. They won’t respond to telephone calls or emails. Is this a common problem?

It can be challenging. Hopefully closer to the six months versus the 10 years. They owe you interest if they don’t pay on time, so that is an incentive for them to move more quickly. Clear title is 15% starting on Nov 1 due to new legislation. Clouded title is less, so looks like you are in that category.

Keep a record of all documentation that you send them so that you have a time line. I send mine by certified mail return receipt as that gives a clean paper trail of who received the documents and when.

That well goes through several sections, so has hundreds if not thousands of mineral owners, so it can take months to get the title checked for all of those owners.

At what would you suggest hiring an attorney. There is no clouded title. I am the sole heir.

If you have a probated OK will, then it is fairly easy. If you have an affidavit of heirship it can take a bit longer. A family law attorney may be able to jump the hoops faster and more accurately.

We were looking into selling the mineral rights and were advised the affidavit of heirship was sufficient to do that. During that time we were advised by Camino that a bonus payment was forthcoming. Then we decided not to sell the mineral rights. Then Camino decided to review the affidavit of heirship. They advised it could take longer. They have not kept us updated as to the process. That is our biggest problem. They will not respond.

It is quite normal to take a few months to get title finished on the multi-section wells. They are trying to get all of you into pay. It is okay to check back with them in about a month to see what progress they have made. Keep copies of everything. It takes some patience, but they have statutory requirements to meet and focus on those first.

Thank you for the info. It has been very helpful. I have learned more in this interaction than I have in the last year. It is much appreciated. I realize now it’s a waiting game.
