Hi. I am looking at a will from a relative from the late 1990s, Ralph Markland, and he specifically mentions two properties in Harper County.
Short of my driving out there from Southlake, TX, does anyone know a landman in the area? It is the third least populated county in OK.
Harper County
S33 T26N R24W E2
S34 T26N R24W W2
Thanks,
John
What do you want to know about the area? Leases, wells, etc.?
S33 T26N R24W E2-one old gas well from 1990. P&A
S34 T26N R24W W2-two old wells P&A
No new leases in the last 36 months. No new permits.
Now that Ralph’s wife has died we are transferring deeds. So, we are looking for a landman to go to the courthouse to do some research
We are trying to figure out if his heirs have a claim.
Ralph mentions this property in his will, but we have never heard about it or been contacted by anyone.

You may be able to do the searching yourself online at www.okcountyrecords.com
It is free to look and minimal to download or print. The digital records go back a few decades, so you can look there first.
You can also look for a landman using the AAPL directory. The landman does not have to live in Harper. Homepage
