Looking for information on Grandparents property

I was recently given documentation by my mother which showed she owned 160 acres in Renville County. There are two references to the property. They are:

township 159 North, Range 85 West

Section 21: NE 4

township 160 North, Range 85 West

Section 17: SE 4

Can anyone point me in the right direction or tell me where this property is located specifically and whether there has been any activity on it? There are a few oil lease documents in the paperwork but none active that I can see.

Hi Kevin, the townships that you give are not in Eden Valley Township. Not sure what township they are in. Do a search for them here: https://www.dmr.nd.gov/oilgas/findwellsvw.asp. I hope this helps you.
