Hello out there, I am looking for anyone who has any info on the labor lots in Section 262, like royalty division orders. Around 1900 my great-great-grandfather had properties around Texas with land and mineral rights. The oldest well I found was drilled in 1939 on the Cordova-Union lease in Upton County with a P-17 to commingle with 5 other leases. My grandfather was put on the leases but passed away in 1963. I have been searching for these since 1985, and now a separate lease shows up in Dawson County Section 262, the same labor lots where my grandpa would help his grandpa pick cotton in the 50s. How to locate the original lease the first oil company used for Dawson County Section 262 labor lots is my question, before I drive up from San Antonio to the courthouse and waste my time. I was hoping someone might know an easier way.
I always try texasfile.com
Thank you very much. I have about 10 counties to look up the mineral rights, I hope this helps.

I saw on texasfile they have if you pay extra lookup a lot of counties at once haven’t tried that part yet.
I am looking for info on Lolita, Other Zones, Coleman County Regular, Cowden South, Conroe, Windham, Dunn Gas Unit, Cordova Union, McCamey, Marion County Shallow. If anyone has a lease on these fields, can you tell me how old the original lease is, so I can use that as a base for my searches? Commingle permit 0413, over 100 wells mixed.
