I heard that a well is being drilled about 8 miles north of Section 1 and Section 2 Township 16. Does anyone know anything about this?

All the activity seems to be in Kingfisher to the Northwest and West of your sections.

Operators drilling are: Chisolm Oil and Gas, Oklahoma Energy Acquisition, Stone Creek and Longfellow Energy.
