Thank you Ron just when and if you get time.
Looking around us, and doing lots of research, we should realize what is coming, and coming very, very soon. The South Korean built drill rig DEEPWATER HORIZON drilled the deepest well in history, over 35,055 feet and that was from seabed under the Gulf of Mexico. Of course, we all know what happened to that, but technology was not the problem. Somewhere, and I swear this is true, somewhere I read of a recently drilled 25,000 foot well either in the Panhandle of Texas or of Oklahoma. The EU wants out of the grips of Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Iran, Iraq, and Russia in a bad way, as does the USA.

Harley, did you sign up?
Todd,
Most H wells in our area only go 1 mile, but some extended H wells have gone as far as 2 miles. I don’t know of any that goes further at this time. What you look at is about a 3 to 4 miles area around your land to see what is happening, then you have some idea if you get a well. If the oil company gets a good well, they may offset it within a short time, if not, they may move out of the area. I still feel they are plotting the area in north Logan County, but I could be wrong.
Ron and Virginia I appreciate your feedback over the last months before I joined this forum I knew next to nothing about oil field, I was able to secure mineral rights with a couple farms in Logan County I purchased some years ago (the previous owners asked me why I wanted the minerals? There’s no oil we had it checked) I feel much more informed than I was, this forum has been a great help just reading the daily posts by everyone helps me pick up on a lot.
Todd you are close to three other Townships with your interest in 25, 19N-1W, 18N-1W, & 18N-2W. I can look around but it will be later today. Yes they can add wells.

Promising New Horizontal Well Production in Logan County, Oklahoma Raises FTTN’s Expectations
BRADENTON, Fla.–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Promising early production from a new horizontal well in Logan County, Oklahoma, has First Titan Corp. (OTCBB:FTTN) increasingly excited about the potential for its own assets in the region.
Last month, one of FTTN’s competitors, Osage Exploration and Development, Inc. (OTCBB: OEDV) announced that the 72-hour Initial Production rate on its Wolf 1-29 horizontal well in Kay County, Oklahoma, averaged over 1,185 BOE/D. The total production was composed of approximately 85 percent oil and 15 percent high BTU natural gas, and the average production during the first full 30 days on the Wolf was over 876 BOE/D.
Todd, Devon is active in 19-1, 19-2, 18-1, 18-2 with wells drilled and permits. Looks like they are putting more than one well in 19-19N-1W, which is next to you. 5-18N-2W looks like it has two wells that did about 112 BOD each from June to August. Not much other production info yet on other wells close to you.
Todd, have you leased yet?
Mario. See my posting of a few hours ago regarding Township 17 North, Range 3 West. A permit to drill in Section 26 was issued on 10/26/2012 to Slawson Exploration. On my earlier posting you can see the activity all around. The permit specifies this well to start in NE NE NW NW and end at Section 3 SE SW SW. The API number is 08324029. You should go to the Oklahoma Corporation Commission Electronic Well Data database and look up the API Number. If you have not seen a map of Townships and Sections you need to see how the Sections are laid out in a Township so you can know what Sections are nearest yours. I did a web search once but do not have a link at the moment. Also, that drilling permit has a phone number for Slawson in case you do not have it on your lease.
Mr. Wilson, Sorry, I see your note is for BOE/D. So both are correct. I calculated somewhere around $260 - $275 per month for an acre at 3/16 in a 640 acre pool. Oil of 315 BPD and gas at 520 MCF. Anyone know if that is about right?
Harley very good. I print them and highlight the Townships.
Well, that maps help. Passed down from my mom as co-owners, living to inherit, and she did and recorded as a court order, Section 9, 18N, 4W. Undivided NW and undivided NE. Looks like the town of Lovell sits right in part of the NW quarter. Am I reading the map correctly? Thanks…
Gosh, just noticed the mistakes with dates. Sorry folks. I think my mistakes can be fixed with a little logic. Obviously, July 10th, 2013 has not come around yet.
Three year with an option to release for another two years with bonus.
Does anyone have information on Section 26, Township 17 North, Range 3 West, North half of the East half? I leased about a year ago. I keep getting offers to purchase my rights. I live out of state, so I am not really in the know of what is happening in Logan County.
This is a link to a map of the Logan County townships. You can click on a township and get a larger scale map of just that township.
