Liz, The Nemaha ridge is a buried mountain range called the “Ancient Rockies” and it is has a whole lot to do with production. http://www.ogs.ou.edu/pdf/KellerARM_subsidence_reprint.pdf

Liz, After you digest the OU study and understand tectonic folding and compression faults this may help you put it all together. http://vulcan.wr.usgs.gov/LivingWith/VolcanicPast/Places/volcanic_p…

I didn’t know Tom Ward (co-founder of Chesapeake and founder of Sandridge Energy) was so concerned for mineral owners. See fine print foot notes at the bottom of COSMO NARO HB2562 mineral owner support request “2 Flashpoint, May 18, 2014, quoting Tom Ward”.

Sir Ron Von, Here is a better video about plant Theia. It’s possible Theia’s impact started Pangaea which in turn caused buckling, folding, and faulting creating huge mountain ranges like the ancestral rockies. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yukSqUkKj7c

Does anyone on this forum have any experience in selling water? I’m negotiating a contract for selling water from my ponds in Kingfisher County for drilling and fracking now.

Regarding the House Bill and Devon’s comments, this just came from NARO
requesting support of the bill.

Tim, don’t know if this good or bad. Sold some for $100/day per well

Tim,

I sold water last year for 45 Cent per bb and it was electronic metered. Some of the H wells will take about 300,000 bb to drill and about twice that much to frack.

I had heard about Theia, but never associated it with fracking. Guess that was what fracking can do to us? Hold on guys, could be a rough ride ahead…

Thank you Martha, I needed that. It does not get any better than Donovan, he is also Scot, as am I, also Celt, as am I, and I do not know how many times my own work, poetry, many of my songs, style, and voice, are carbon copies of Donovan. Who was also a carbon copy of Bob Dylan. Not bad for we country bumpkins.

Happy Memorial Day to everyone.

Sir Ron Von, In memorial day honor of my father and brother US Navy Seaman Third Class.

Where can I find a map that shows all of the sections in Logan County. I need to see where my section in the larger map falls. Thanks

Liz, in regards to the book being written, Martha has not said yea or nay, but I am sure she would advise/help if we ask for it, I have a cousin, Donlyn Arbuthnot in Colorado, also a fantastic artist, who definitely wants to help, I have purchased some of her work, and a geoligist in – oh wait that’s you. Yes, and I will be in Richmond shortly to work with a new singer and on this book project. We will get beaucoup help and that is a fact.

Thank you Ron for the maps. Ronald when u come to richmond call me and we can have lunch - my treat.

There are several Co.s leasing in 15n-4w but the lease bonuses are so low I think the terms of the lease and the royalty interest are as important to think about.
