Locating Deeds of Mineral Rights

Hey folks,

I’m trying to help a client sort out an inheritance. I am told there are mineral rights in Oklahoma, Kansas, and Nevada. Is it possible to do an online search for records pertaining to these rights? Records such as recorded mineral deeds and conveyances and leases. I have already been successful with Oklahoma based on advice on this forum. Does anyone know how to do this for Kansas or Nevada? Any leads would be appreciated.

Try the directory above for courthouse direct’s link to their site. Dunno if they do Kansas/Nevada though. Good luck.

Thank you, Rick, but I’m not seeing much there.

Does anyone else have any helpful links?

Depending on the county in OK, it may be here: (not all counties participate though)

For KS, you have to google the individual county and look up the land/deed records through the county clerk’s office.

I am sure NV has some sort of the same system as KS.
