I have the original leases (2) dating back several decades, pertaining to wells on which I have inherited gas royalties. There is one well though, on a nearby property, that do not have the original lease on. I’m told a Landman can help find records. I had a title guy look for records and he said he couldn’t find anything nor could he find recording of the operator having transferred to a new operator, which occurred 4 years ago.
