I've had my first oil and gas mineral lease three years ago which expires August 2014. There have been numerous leases and drillings in surrounding areas of sec 27 14N 5E of the IM- Equal Energy claimed over the passed three years that I'm on the list of drilling however its never come to pass. Recently I discovered a well drilled adjacent to my 160 tract and wondering if I should stay with this company or let it expire in hopes of getting someone truly interested. The land of which I own hasn't been drilled upon since 1952. Any advice or suggestions? I'm exhausted by the continued "You're on the list" No we are not drilling at this time" We are waiting to see what happens on the nearby new wells we drilled" kind of answers.
