What would that mean to someone with an oil lease with BP?
Depending upon which tracts are bought, the operator would change to LimeRock. They may have a different agenda than BP, so hard to tell at this point. Have to wait and see.
I would like to find which ones they acquired for sure.
When the deal is finally closed, it will become clear. Wells will have a change of operatorship reported to the OCC and the leases will change hands and be reported at the county courthouse.
