Continental Resources had previously operated a well in Garvin County Oklahoma and I have to identify the legal descriptions of other mineral rights in which I have an interest and had inquired to Continental to provide the legal description of the well they had previously operated. The information provided was Collins 1-26 as the legal description which matches none of the other properties in that format. Is this a legitimate legal description or not. I have attempted to contact Continental Resources but without success in even a return call. Any assistance would be appreciated.
@samftla1951 , there is a plugged well in 26-4N-1W E2 E2 NE SE often called Collis 1-26 which may have been a typo for Collins 1-26. Well API 35-49-22343. This well is in Garvin County, OK and was completed in January 1984 by Continental Resources. Latitude 34.78769N Longitude 97.26594W.
