I am attempting to find out if anyone else has encountered recent threats by Longoria and Kelly PLLC to sue if the leases sent and prepared by Noble are not released? I received a letter x 2 referencing g the Ramones Area so Section 266-267.
I have seen the similar letters about multiple operators regarding underpaid royalties (pricing and costs) from (same?) law firm looking to file class action suits. These tend to be very profitable for the attorneys involved. If your lease has expired in its entirety or in part as to certain depths, you can contact Noble yourself and request a full or partial release. Read your lease terms regarding depths and what is held once production is established.
