I believe there is a Le Flore County group already, but if not you are welcome to create one HERE.
Not since natural gas prices fell off a cliff from overproduction.

Not living in the area, I didn’t know Leflore County had gas prospects. I was kind of banking on oil development.
Is there gas production in Leflore?

There was zero oil produced in all of Leflore County for the entire year of 2012, no oil at all, then or now.
There was a fair amount of gas activity way back when natural gas prices were over $8 per mcf but now nothing to speak of. The horizontal gas wells were not very good and haven’t seen any horizontal wells drilled in several years, just a handful of bad straight holes.
Sorry, they were bringing top dollar back then like $2,000 to $8,000 per acre, now I have recently seen sellers get only $250 per acre in a crowd of mineral buyers and most couldn’t find a buyer. Everyone says never sell, took 100 years to get to the high, maybe in another 100 years they will be worth that high price again.
Thanks for the information. Sure sounds like a very poor region for oil and gas. Sorry to hear this, but the truth is always glad to have.
Thanks again.
