I bought a house on Lindsay Lane Road in Moundsville about 2 years ago. I would like to lease out the mineral rights that came with the purchase. How do I go about finding a company to do this? We have a constant stream of oil and gas trucks on our road and 2 or 3 wells close by, so I’m hoping someone is interested.
How many acres do you own?
Just under 1. I know I wouldn’t get much, but if they are pulling from under me I should get something.
They usually won’t lease acreage that small.
