My family has 10 mineral acres under 97.61 acres in grady coundy in 3N6W SEC31 3N7W SEC 36 3N7W SEC.25 I think know but not for sure where it is. does anybody know if any thing going on in the area. we also have 10 acres in Sthephens county T2NR7W sec 32 &33 I don't know how close this is to each other. I think both are close to Marlow OK. Are there any oil co. Leasing in the are?
I don't know of any leasing in the area but my BIL lives in Marlow and has about 3/4 acre and the city takes care of his for him but he gets a check about once per month for around $300.00. I understand that everything in the city limits is controlled by the City then they in turn send the money to the royalty owner.

3North is a good lattitude but you are 30-50 miles west of where the heavy action is right now. Most of the activity is in 2 & 3 North and 4 & 5 west. The play spreads to the Northwest but is more to the East on the South end. You are correct they are around Marlowe, each township is 36 square miles, 3N is North of 2N. Your sections may have some potential for the future but the only leasing I could find was Marathon Oil in 2-3N/6W and 26-2N/7W.
Please don't take this as the final word, I would continue to research the area. I will post a link here that illustrates the Township system in Oklahoma. Good Luck!
