My family has 10 mineral acres under 97.61 acres in Grady County in 3N6W Section 31, 3N7W Section 36, 3N7W Section 25 I think now but not for sure where it is. Does anybody know if anything is going on in the area? We also have 10 acres in Stephens County Township 2N Range 7W Section 32 & 33. I don’t know how close these are to each other. I think both are close to Marlow, OK. Are there any oil companies leasing in the area?
I don’t know of any leasing in the area but my BIL lives in Marlow and has about 3/4 acre and the city takes care of his for him but he gets a check about once per month for around $300.00. I understand that everything in the city limits is controlled by the City then they in turn send the money to the royalty owner.

3 North is a good latitude but you are 30-50 miles west of where the heavy action is right now. Most of the activity is in 2 & 3 North and 4 & 5 West. The play spreads to the Northwest but is more to the East on the South end. You are correct they are around Marlowe, each Township is 36 square miles, 3N is North of 2N. Your sections may have some potential for the future but the only leasing I could find was Marathon Oil in 2-3N/6W and 26-2N/7W.
