What is the going rate per acre for leasing minerals? Percentage for royalty?

My property is in South Kountze, Texas, Hardin County. WJ Collins Survey.

2009 3D imaging by Cobra Oil Company, Wichita, Texas indicated positive for oil/gas.

Kerr McGee partnered with Cobra, but Kerr McGee was bought by Anadarko and the plan for drilling activity did not start. Have received multiple calls recently with interest in leasing my 100+ acres of minerals. My last least expired 2009; what is the current price for leasing/royalty?

Yvonne,

I can't help you with bonus amount or royalty percentage on the area of your minerals. When asking for help with your minerals ask for Hardin County Abstract 811(A-811) and it is easy to find. Also I noticed several older 9,000' wells to the west of your minerals. These wells are not great wells but they have been producing for 25-35 years and still going strong.

Go to the top of this page and click on GROUPS. A screen will pop up with all States and Counties. Scroll down to Hardin County Texas and join that Group. Then post your question about bonus and royalty percentage to those folks that have minerals in Hardin County. Good luck with your minerals.
