I own 80 acres of minerals in PSL Block A-20, Section 5, Abstract 1972 about 7 miles south of Seminole. I was approached by a Midland landman about leasing this land in 2001. A dry hole was drilled on this land, I think in the late 1950s. I am hoping what was then a dry hole could now be a producing well with new technology. A geophysicist looked at some well logs [porosity, resisitivity, etc.] and marked what he considered potential hydrocarbons. I have also been trying to get more information on the "Telephone Road" wildcat drilled on Blk C44 Sec 5 Abst 1505 by Houston Energy which looks to be about 2 miles north and 2 miles west of the northeast corner of "my" section. I am wanting to lease this land. I might consider selling up to 20 acres of my minerals if the price were right.
