Our family has quite a few well leases in Bossier County, LA. Does public Louisiana well information show oil and gas operators - as Arkansas does? We are in contact with the oil operator currently, but not the gas.
Also, how do we get copies of the leases if originals are not in hand?

Start with the Division Order analyst with all operators. Ask for a copy of the lease and the exact equations as to how they are calculating the royalties.

Louisiana just changed their online system and it look nothing like it used to. Fortunately, they have a very helpful person there named Patrick who explained the new methods to me.
