Very new to this site, my cousin it appears inherited some oil rights in Section 32, Block 27 Howard County. High Peak energy thru a land man is only offering 750 per acre, this seems low but not familiar with that area. Can someone explain where that section and block are and if its a fair offer. thanks for any help.
That section is in northeast Howard County and is not currently in an area of intense drilling activity. Grenadier Energy Partners has drilled a few horizontal Wolfcamp A horizontal wells 5-6 miles to the west and they appear to be good from early production numbers. It seems like I’ve heard of higher bonuses for that area but it’s also out of my area of familiarity. Hopefully someone else who is more familiar with it will chime in with their experience.
