Can anyone tell me if they know of anything happening around Rotan in Fisher County, Texas. I have mineral rights passed down to me from grandparents and parents. There are 2 parcels. One containing about 320 mineral acres and the other just 30. I was hounded over the last 5 years to sell which I wasn’t interested in and also to lease which I eventually did with both. They are leased to 2 different companies. Over the last year I’ve heard nothing. Is this a dead area? I know very little about any of this living in New Jersey. It’s not something we deal with here. I’ve read up about the general idea of how things work but just hoping eventually for a little action. Thanks!

Here is a link to the Texas Railroad Commission drilling permit site. Fill in Fisher under the drop down in the county space. Go to the last page for most recent drilling permit applications in Fisher County. Hope this helps.
