Can anyone tell me the current terms on mineral leases in Wibaux County? I’ve been offered $300/acre bonus and 1/6 royalty on a 3 year lease with 3 year option. The location is: Wibaux County, MT Township 14 North Range 60 East, MPM Section 20: NE
160.00 gross mineral acres 10.00 net mineral acres
I got 300 per acre but the royalty was closer to 18 percent on three years.

That’s in line with what I pay or a bit less. I’d take it or I might offer same or higher royalty and less bonus.
This up front stuff is fun a little, but the rubber meets the road when I get my royalty checks year after year.
