Your question is difficult to answer. The royalties range in amounts due to the performance of the reservoir. Different reservoirs perform differently due to their porosity, permeability, the method of completion on the well, the choke size, the product produced, etc.
Not sure what your other questions pertain to. Leasing, purchasing? They are too vague.
For leasing purposes, great is 1/4th royalty or 25%, sucks is 1/8th or 12.5%
