Lease renewals from Energy and Exploration Partners

Hello,

Our family has mineral rights leased out to Energy and Exploration Partners (EEP) in northern Grimes County outside of Bedias, TX. I was curious if anyone knew if EEP was renewing the leases they had coming up for renewal in Grimes County. I did see where some members of this forum were saying they were up for renewal but I never saw any responses as to if that renewal occurred.

Any input is greatly appreciated and thanks in advance!!

Some of the wells in northern Grimes have been less than stellar. I think that the industry is re-thinking some areas.

Even though the formation is a shale/lime, there is a lot of geology involved that the earth scientists are just now understanding in this area.

Wait and see, I suppose.

Thanks Buddy Cotten..... I really appreciate your input. We are trying to become more educated around the future movement, activity and production in this area on northern Grimes County,TX. My mother had leases in southern Grimes County that have been very good for her through drilling and production. We really are trying to gain better understanding of this other area. It seems very difficult for a non-industry person to really gain insight on where specific trends, activity and production are. I did see on their website that there is a 330 acre seismic survey going in the Madison and Grimes county. I am sure this will have an impact on future drilling, activity and renewals but not sure if it will be positive or negative in impact. My brother did talk to a landman in the Grimes County office that stated they believed that most of the production over in Madison County and the Madisonville area was moving into the northern Grimes County area but I am not so sure that appears to be correct.

1) Do you see this movement, that landman projected, into northern Grimes as a solid trend potential?

1) Do you know of any place where a brief summary type overview of that seismic survey research might be available after the first of the year or is that going to be strictly restricted to the O&G Production cos.?

2) Do you know if EEP was involved in any of those wells that had less than stellar production?

Thanks again for your input!!!
