Lease Renewal?

When you have a lease with a renewal option would a affidavit of a pooling order hold that to the primary term or would you be eligible for renewal bonus when primary term expires?

Not sure I understand your wording. If you have a signed lease with an option to renew, you usually do not get a pooling notice since you are already leased. At the end of the three years, they can either choose to renew the lease or not. You don’t have the option then because you already signed it away with the first lease. If they do not choose to renew, then you can lease with someone else or get pooled at that point.

Would it be likely for company to exercise it’s renewal option for sections 4,5,9,16 and 18 within 16N 15W?

You will have to wait and see. Not a lot of money for funding drilling these days. Depends upon who is holding your leases and if they have drilling money or have a deal with another operator who has drilling money.

Leased with MEP Oklahoma. Carrera is operator in the area that’s filed for pooling and had a permit issued in 2017 for one of the sections. Looks like MEP may have assigned these to Royal Bank of Canada. Lease has my previous address. Looks like lease gives MEP option to match on a Top Lease. Does this mean they could sit on lease though 2 year renewal option and not pay bonus on it? Also who would lease bonus be paid by MEP or Royal Bank of Canada?

A top lease is different than a renewal. The renewal option comes after the primary term. If the company does not renew, then the top lease could come into play at that time or at the end of the two year option if that was taken. There should be a bonus on the option and later on the top lease, but it depends upon how it was written. As to who pays, it would depend on how the assignment was written and if there was an retention in it.
