I do believe Chesapeake well not be renewing lease. I was wondering how much are independents giving for leases per acre. i have 1200 acres and originally was given $3000 an acre. I would like to lease to some one that well drill on the property in the next 12 months.
Without leading to someone with egress in the area, it’s going to be hard to get a 12 month drilling commitment. Is anyone else drilling nearby?

Oil companies and promoters regularly read these forums. You might want to post the Abstract numbers where your property is located -- also the expiration date of the Chesapeake lease.
