I live 300 miles from my property in West Texas and have been offered a oil and gas lease. How can I learn what the going rate for leases is for my area?

From your note above, it looks like you own mineral rights in Dawson County, Montana, but that you live in Texas. Is that right? There is a Dawson County Montana Discussion forum, but it looks like this one is for Dawson County, Texas. I also have mineral rights in Dawson County, Montana, and I live in Dallas, TX.
