I was offered a lease. My attorney made some changes and I sent the changes to the landman. He said he would have the company look over it and get back to me. It has been 2 months. My sister thinks that they didn’t like the exhibit and will just wait to force pool us. Does this happen?? Another company wants to lease. All I signed was the offer sheet. Can I lease to somebody else?

Yes, an operator can force pool if an individual is not leased and a well is drilled on your mineral area. You might want to google "forced pooling" on this forum and view various posts related to this topic. If you did not enter into a formal lease, you are free to negotiate a new lease with another individual.
