Are bonus considerations due along with royalty negotiations if a second well is to be drilled in a section that was previously leased. The new well surface hole will not be on the section of my royalty interest but the bottom hole will be. The first well is producing. Does the initial lease that was signed when the first well was proposed not cover additional wells that are drilled in the section.
Larry, to add to what Pete said, if the new well is not going to produce minerals of yours that are not HBP, then no negotiations and no new bonus. If that's the case, cheer up, at least you are getting another well, alot of people out there would give their eye teeth to get another well.
Pete, it appears that Larry has minerals in Oklahoma, not that I think it changes the basics.
