My family has some ground in Sections 25 and 35 17N 23W that recently became available for lease. What is the best way to go about soliciting offers? What is current leasing activity in the area? Just looking for some general direction here.
If your name and address and title documents such as a deed or probate documents are properly filed in the county courthouse, they will come looking for you if interested.
Mewbourne just drilled a well in section 24/13, so I expect someone will come looking. OGI Minerals filed some leases in section 25 in 2024. BIrd Point, H2 Resources, Indian Hills Resources, Mewbourne, Summit O&G, Valpoint Energy and Winding River Energy are leasing in the township. You can call around and see if you can get some interest.
