My sisters and I own 156 net mineral acres in Richland County, MT Township 23 North. The lease bonus is $250 per acre, royalty 18.75% with a term of 5 year. Was wondering what current leases are looking like in this area.

It really depends what part of Richland County you own in. Often times MT acreage is not as valuable as ND acreage. I’ve seen similar terms, but slightly higher lease bonus. Just depends on location and who you are talking to!
