Got an offer for $50 and 3/16th for Sect. 26- 10N-12E. The other more recent offers I’ve seen in this forum were for different sections in this county. Any thought about the offer? Any others in the section getting interest?
Many of the leases filed to date in the 26/27 area are for 1/5th or 1/4th. Ask what they are offering for that those royalties. The bonus is insignificant compared to the royalty in the long run. Also, it would be wise to get an oil and gas attorney to review any draft lease as they are not normally in the mineral owner’s favor and will need some editing.
