I have been offered $500 p/acre for a lease in 14-13N-16W. It’s a pretty standard offer of 3 years and 3/16. Anyone have any info on this area? Thanks!
Mewbourne has been leasing in that township since 2021. Always ask for more than the 3/16ths options. They have quite a few leases filed with 1/5th and 1/4th in several of the sections. New horizontal wells in section 5 & 7. New OCC cases in 7 & 17 & 18 for horizontal wells. Make sure you have no post production charges on your lease. Good idea to get an attorney to look at your draft lease to make suggestions for improvements.
