Williams County, ND T157 R103 S15 I sent an email to Halcon last week asking if they intended to negotiate a new lease for land that expires next month. They said no. I spent some time in Williston in July and was amazed at all the construction going on. Certainly not the town of my youth. Has anyone had offers to lease recently? Does it look like land may go unleased for awhile? Is it worth looking for companies to lease or will they look for me if there’s any interest? Strange times in the oil biz.
It may get kind of quiet on the leasing front until the prices go up. North Dakota is very expensive to drill and transport to market.
