I recently received a call from Caddo Minerals to sell my mineral rights. I am not interested in doing so. But they indicated my lease was held by Sabine Energy. However, my royalty payments etc. come from Diversified Energy.
Can this be verified? If so, how?

Sabine probably sold these interests/wells to Diversified Energy.
If you post the well name and location, I can check online sources to confirm this.
NE Overton in Smith County. But I never had Sabine. Breitburn and then Maverick and now Diversified who would rather not have.

Those East Texas gas properties have been turned over/sold many times - and more to come in the future.
Problem is that each operator has their own “way” of paying revenues and slapping deductions on the revenues to mineral owners.
Did your lease have a “cost free” clause?
