I recently was contacted by Chesapeake to lease our property on Highway 21 east of Caldwell. What is the going rate for lease bonuses for 3 years with 2-year extension option?
Maybe I listed this question wrong as I got no responses. I am looking for an idea of what my piece of property near the Lutheran cemetery 2 miles east of Caldwell on Hwy 21 should bring in bonus per acre at 25% royalty share for a 3-year lease and 2-year extension option? I would really appreciate any input you can give. Thanks.
Not many of us would take the option. Only the three year lease. I don’t know values in that area.
