Looking for information on Lease bonus and royalty in Dewey County 33-17N-16W. Anyone getting offers?
I do not see any leases filed in 33 in the last 24 months. Three were filed in section 28 at 1/8th royalty which is pretty low. Leases up in sec 6 & 7 ranged from 3/16ths to 1/4th which is where most folks would like to land. Mewbourne has two multiunit wells planned in the two sections.
A number of our family members have been contacted, but no offer yet. None of us live in Oklahoma and have been confused as to how to get more than bid. Any help would be appreciated.
If you each have your correct contact information filed in the Dewey County courthouse (along with a description of your acreage), then the landmen will find you if they are interested. Leasing can take many months.
