Lease amounts in Johnston County, OK

Does anyone have any current leasing/pooling information for Atoka County? Have recently received a lease for $150 an acre—seems low. Thanks for any information you can provide.

Sorry—also have acreage in Atoka County but am currently curious about Johnston County.

Where in Johnston County?

Where in Johnston County? SE 24 Township 2S Range 8E. I understand that the notification of well spud was filed with the state on 5/1/14 but have found nothing on it since. Thanks for any help.

There is a well in the NE4 of 24

Thanks Ron. I would love to know more about this well - production reports etc - just don’t know where to find.

It will be 2 or 3 months before they post any production info.

Thanks - just wrote Husky a letter letting them know that I am an unleased mineral owner. I should have been forced pooled but don’t know who to give my information to. Hopefully they will respond with instructions. Happy 4th!

Above is a pooling for your SE4. Did not see your name. Is the interest in another name?

My dad and grandfather are both listed and are both deceased. My dad is 1/4th heir to my grandfather’s interest and I have 1/3rd of my father’s. Very small interest! My understanding is that a cousin filed the heirship information with the county - that is how I received a lease, however, it must have been done subsequent to the initial state process. Now I just need to figure out how to straighten it all out. I did notice in the pooling order that the legal on page one references Johnston County whereas the order - item #1 on page 2 under ORDER references Atoka County. Thanks Ron for all of your help.

What was your dad’s and grandfather’s name? When did you receive the lease?

My grandfather was Ralph E. Barton and my dad was Dee Jay Barton. The letter and lease were mailed by the landman on April 19, 2014.

My sister and I have about 2,000 acres of mineral, gas, sand, oil, water, etc. rights in Johnston and Coal County, Oklahoma. Anybody interested or know a price range? Be good… right in the area of the city of Bromide, Ok.
