My family has some mineral rights in Lea Country for over 100 years. We have section 28, township 15 south, range 36 east. Are they doing any drilling there? My sisters and brothers are all getting calls on our mineral rights? To lease or sale. Any information would be great.

It is currently leased to DG Petroleum, who have stopped telling me what is going on. It is up for lease renewal in January. They have applied for a 1,200 acre unit. Let me know who is interested in yours.

According to the New Mexico Oil Conservation Divisions website there is no current drilling or applications activity in your area. I would lease rather than sell.
