I have received a royalty check from Contango dated Nov. 2022 for several wells in Dewey Co. with production dates of August 2022. However, several entries on that same revenue statement show (never before reported) production dated November 2021. My question is, should I be entitled to interest on those late payments and, if so, how do I claim it?
Also, for the last six months that same company has reported one of the wells with negative production and a negative royalty payment (YES, they are reducing my payment for negative production). How is it possible to have negative production?
