Laramie Co, WY Bonus and Lease Rates

I own the mineral and surface rights to 320 acres in Laramie Co, E1/2 of Section 30, 13 63. My current lease is set to expire 10/1/14, so I am looking for a new lessee and would like to know if anyone has any information on current bonus and lease rates in this area? The current lease is with Cirque, but they are not working in this area, and have not contacted me to renew. I plan to contact 3 other companies that are working in this area to see if they are interested, but any information on rates in advance would be helpful.

Mike, typically it is in your best interest to let the company find you. When you call and offer a lease to an operator or lessor, it makes you look anxious to lease and they will try to drive a harder bargain with you. (It can also make them think that the acreage isn't quality if you are trying to market it to them.)

A few companies are still actively leasing up there, so I wouldn't worry about waiting on them to call you, besides your acreage isn't up until October, at best I wouldn't expect interested parties to start contacting you until 90-60 days prior to expiration if not after expiration.
