I have received about three calls in the last two months wanting to buy my acreage in Grady County in 25-7-6 for $800,000.00. It is leased to Continental Resources. I keep saying I am not interested. The guy is very pushy. Is there something going on there?

Read your second to last sentence again. If someone is being pushy to get you to sell, they know something you dont.

Just do not answer the phone or hang up when he calls. You are not under any obligation to talk with him. The more you engage in conversation, the more you encourage him to think you will break down and sell.

If they are willing to pay you 800k they know it’s worth 10x times that maybe more!

It is extremely unlikely that anyone is offering 10% of the value.
Yes, 10% would be (almost) unheard of.
Continental has a new horizontal well drilled for sections 24, 25, 36 7N-6W. If you are already leased, then just sit back and wait because the well has already spud as of 1/31/26. You should see royalties within another eight months or so.
