Land rights, family estate

Not quite sure how to pose this question, but here goes. My great grandmother inherited land in Cass County Texas which evently passed down to my grandmother and seven siblings. They are all deceased except for one. The descendants (my mother and others) names were never added to the estate, as such it has left my generation out of this estate. What i need to know is how do we go about adding our names to be included in the estate as there looks like some drilling for oil aamd/or lease is in the works. Since we were not aware of this land, other siblings of my great grandfather has assumed our portion of land left to us. How do we rectify this situation? Asking for any guidance or advice in this matter. Thank you

Ree-Ree: Sounds like you need to take all of your information to an attorney that handles Texas estate or probate matters. They will be able to sort it out for you. Good Luck.
