Hi, for a year or so, and my sisters and brother and I have gotten checks for our well in McKenzie county, North Dakota that Kodiak has. Our checks have always arrived on the 1st or 2nd of the month. Here it is the 9th and still no checks. I asked our landman and he said they were sent out first part of the month, so he thought, and he told me to give it another few days. I did this, still no checks, has anyone else had this problem with getting their mineral checks this month?
Thanks Ardis Till Jackson
Ardis, mine arrived 2 days later than normal but I did get them.
hmmm, well, I will wait until Tuesday, then if no check, I guess I better check into it farther. Like I said, they always were right on time--Hey, thanks for your prompt reply, there is hope then that there is not a problem
The envelope stuffing service that SM Energy uses once tried to mail my check without postage. The post office still delivered it (+1 post office), but you could tell that it had been making the rounds in the system for 20 days. Wasn't a big check so I saved it like it came for sentimental value, beat up, holes torn in the envelope, never metered for postage. I am so going to miss the post office when they finally do away with it.
So maybe our checks are floating around out there in the postal space! HA
okay, I found out from my real nice landman that the well was down for a month due to a hole in the tubing, so now that explains why no check, It was under $100.00

Ardis, you should be building up alot of good karma, having a well that needed the squeeze job and now this, I hope you get smooth sailing from now on.
Thanks, the well is only 2 years old if that, hopefuly, it will produce better now. I meant to say the check is under $100.00, so they hold it until it reaches $100.00, which will be in May. Kodiak has the best landsmen, out of the 3 oil companies that I have dealt with.
