Kiowa County, CO - Oil & Gas Discussion archives

Thanks for this update. Looks good for the future, oil plays

I have leased rights in Kiowa County, Section 21 and 31, Range 48. Does anyone know of prospecting activity in this area?

Hi group- new here. Who leased your minerals? Thanks!

Diamond Resources in Williston ND

There was a discussion on 2012 1099 Forms being incorrect…can’t find. How do we know if they are correct? McDonald sent me one, correct amount, but with no withholding taxes. Is this correct?

Been very quiet lately is this the calm before the storm. They had shown that the Horz well ( WEIMER STATE 16-19-47 #1-H ) would have results released on 12/11/13 and still nothing posted although the Operator has changed to CHESAPEAKE OPERATING INC - 16660. It doesn’t appear as if any production has been updated since October. Maybe it’s just me.

All of Chesapeake’s wells are in confidential status, as well as Anadarko wells in Cheyenne County. The Pronghorn well was reporting for a few months and then a change in drill plan was filed and nothing has been reported since October so it could be the Weimer State also filed a change in drilling plan.

Just as I thought in June Chama filed and had approved a drilling plan change. Here is the correspondence to confirm.

Already considered Kiowa a bust? Interesting hopefully just a bad choice of words.
