Anyone heard how Hinkle Oil & Gas - Michel 4-18H is doing in production per day on 18-17N-5W is doing?
Interesting article in the Daily OK today about Continental’s drilling program in the Bakken. Tests could open up new zones beneath Oklahoma’s existing zones…http://newsok.com/business/energy
Can you tell me if the well being drilled in Section 1 Township 16 North Range 8 West does that lease in compass all 640 acres of that section? I would you think so but ???
Troy, The well location in Township 1 North Range 16 West looks to be for a multiunit well under Sections 36 and 25 Township 17 North Range 8 West.

Here is a great presentation on the past and future production of the Anadarko Basin in Oklahoma. http://www.ogs.ou.edu/MEETINGS/Presentations/OilGasMar2012/MITCHELL_ANDARKO.pdf
I have an interest on Section 3, Township 18N, Range 8W.
Is anyone have news about that?
Thanks in advance.
Kunal,
There is a well operated by Centaur Resources in that Section that made 175.64 BO in all of 2013.
There have been a few applications by Husky in and around that Section as well for possible HZ drilling.
Anybody know anything about Oklahoma Mineral Owner Registry? Is it a legit thing or what? They want $35 for a year for me to give them my updated information. I received the same letter last year but ignored it. Anybody have any ideas on it?
Steve, Thank you again for information. 175 is pretty low. I hope next one will be monster well like recent other well.
Edward, if your minerals have your correct contact address at the courthouse, you should be OK. If not, I would update the courthouse records first and not worry about OMOR.
Also, a proof of death and heirship may not cut it as far as proving up heirs. The operator/broker may require Probate or a Judicial Determination since it was intestate.

My daughters have inherited mineral rights for SW4 25-17N-05W in Kingfisher. Hawley #1 was producing until recently, and now a new well has just been finished, called, I think, Bug #2. We have received offers of $1000 per acre plus royalties to lease, as well as $2000 per acre to purchase. We are new to all of this and live out of state. Does this sound like a fair offer, and when they say $2000 per mineral acre, and we have 160 acres, does that mean $320,000? It would be split amongst 5 people, but sure sounds like a piece of change from where we’re standing. We have rights to hundreds of acres in Logan County as well as Delaware and Pittsburg Counties. Appreciate any guidance you could give.

Thanks for the info, Ron. Since my daughter’s mother and grandmother passed away, we’ve been trying to file all the necessary documents with the county. Grandma died intestate. We just sent birth and death certificates. Payne Exploration is holding royalties since 2009 in suspense until we complete all of this.
